Care instructions

Few options to get rid of the silicone smell.
Option 1. Wash with dish soap (preferably no perfume) & soak in hot water for 3-5 minutes for few times
Option 2. Wash with water and without drying the cup, cover with baking soda for 30 minutes before rinsing thoroughly
Note:
Yes you CAN UV sterilize your silicone dinnerwares.
The reason why a lot of brands have differing care instructions regarding UV sterilizer is because silicone are meant to have long period of usage, more than 10 years and up to 15 years. The use of UV radiation might cause the silicone to degrade faster, thus affecting the usability period. But! When it degrades, it will not produce any harmful substances. It just fell apart.

Similar to how FDA is in US, LFGB is the certification that is issued to dinnerwares that passed the certification test in German and France.
